The National Codification Bureau of
the Republic of Korea(NCB KOR)

  • The Korean NCB is responsible for the Korean codification policy and the coordination of all codification activities for the armed services and other organisations.
  • Organisationally it is part of the Defense Acquisition Program Administration. The NCB was arranged to be divided into two functional groups (Policy and Cataloguing)

The Republic of Korea currently has bilateral agreements for codification data exchange and services with the following countries

  • The tool for codifying items of supply based on NATO Codification System rules is KDSIS (Korea defense Standard Information System) developed by KOR NCB on April 2013.
  • This system is included in the integrated "Logistic Standard Management System"
